Renault will increase production at its Argentine plant
Renault will strengthen its production operations in the Argentine plant in Cordoba by adding a second assembly line.
The new shift will start in October and it will lead to the creation of 700 new jobs, as anticipated by Renault's managers for the Americas and the Argentine market respectively Olivier Murguet and Fernando Pelaez Gamboa.
The French carmaker will thus increase Logan and Sandero's local production rhythms to 330 units per day compared to the current 230. The Cordoba factory will also host Nissan Frontier and Renault Alaskan pickups production from 2018 onwards.
